I still have not sorted out if this is the best way to do that but for the moment this page has photos from everywhere. In time, I might be more discriminating with categories – in fact, I am sure I will be. For now, I’m just feeling feeble at trying to wrangle the tools… :\

… One of the things I love the most is seeing light and how it lands on places. This was one of the train stations we passed when I was travelling from Vaasa, in the north of Finland, on the Boethian sea (correct that for spelling, Jenn!) down to Helsinki, on the south coast. That was in November (is that right?) after a lovely, though brief, visit with Kaisa, my wonderful Kalani friend. I do wish I had some Hawaii photos of light to add in here… will work on that.
There are so many beautiful things in our world, and so much that really goes by us unnoticed, because it is small, or we think we know it, or it just seems unimportant to our world. All those things may be true and yet still, there is a wonder in the choices nature has made.

Denise and Jenn in San Miguel, November 2025
The last night of our trip there, we went out for dinner and drinks on the terrace of 1810 ( I think or was it called something else… hmm I will come back with correct info in time.) The evening sky is often like this.
